Notes
The Holy Quran is a divine Book. He clearly stated this situation in the verse An-Nisa 4/82 and stated that if it were otherwise, there would be many contradictions. If the verse is read in reverse, it follows that a book containing contradictions is not divine. Based on this, people or groups opposed to Islam found contradictions in their own way, claimed that the Quran was a book containing contradictions, and ultimately tried to raise doubts against it. On the other hand, Muslims with poor Qur'anic culture also came to the conclusion that some verses were in conflict with each other due to their appearance (!) and appealed to scholars to solve the problem. These scholars also answered the questions or objections in question. Zamakhshari is among these scholars. While interpreting the Qur'an in al-Kashshaf, he referred to the verses that seemed difficult and touched upon issues that might come to mind. This study is about his comments. In this context, the work in question was examined in its entirety and the difficult issues that the commentator addressed by question and answer method were determined. As a result, it has been seen that Zamakhshari clearly revealed the possible objections and answered them.
