In a treatise attributed to Pîr Mehmed, one of the fiqh and lexicographers of the Ottoman period, there is also a section in which some objections selected from the 'command' topic in İbn Melek's Şerhu'l-Menâr are answered and some assumptions are criticized. By analyzing the content of this section, some data can be obtained that will determine or influence the opinions about the importance of the mentioned treatise in fiqh methodology literature and the competence of its author in the procedure. The aim of this study is to identify the data in question and transform it into a general result. In this regard, each of the procedural issues in the treatise is handled independently, and the internal consistency of the author's explanations is examined after brief introductions preparatory to the discussions they contain. These explanations, whose position was tried to be determined according to the common views in the Hanafi method, were also compared with the information in some other commentaries and annotations of Şerhu'l-Menâr and Menârü'l-envâr. It is also envisaged that this study, which includes some suggestions and notes regarding the name, affiliation, goal and style of the treatise and the nature of its sections - which are outside the scope of examination - can make concrete contributions to the parts related to its field of comprehensive and in-depth research on the scientific personality and works of the author.
