Notes

One of the striking elements in his life story described in the Quran is the issue of "ukde", that is, "knot" in his tongue. Such a flaw in a task such as prophecy, which depends on using the language well and speaking effectively, is seriously thought-provoking. It is noteworthy that this situation, which closely concerns human psychology, is also mentioned in the Torah. In our interpretations, Hz. There are narrations and various comments on the subject that Moses put fire in his mouth when he was a baby. In this study, the aforementioned narrations and related comments were criticized; Based on these comments, modern scientific data and statements in the Torah, Hz. An attempt has been made to determine the nature of the problem in Moses' language. Hz. In addition to a physiological disorder in Moses' tongue resulting from a trauma he may have experienced when he was a child, such as putting fire in his mouth; It has been concluded that there is a speech difficulty caused by being overly excited, timid and anxious in temperament, that this speech difficulty may be stuttering, lisping or stiffness, that this problem may continue for a while after prophethood and then disappear, and that there are some lessons in appointing someone with speech difficulty as a prophet.
