Fundamental problems such as the definition of happiness, its nature and its relationship with philosophy were systematically addressed by Ibn Miskawayh, who is undoubtedly among the most important names in the tradition of Islamic moral philosophy. The philosopher examined these problems in both his works Tehzibu'l-ahlâk ve Tathiru'l-arak and Tertibu'ssa'adât ve Menâzilu'l-ulûm. In this evaluation, the work titled Tertibu's-sa'adât ve Menâzilu'l- ulûm: Happiness and Philosophy will be tried to be introduced and examined. It can be easily determined when the literature on Islamic moral philosophy is scanned that this work is mostly not included in the studies on Ibn Miskawayh. This work, which is the product of a meticulous study, is extremely valuable in terms of revealing the relationship between happiness and philosophy, the relationship between sciences and morality, and addressing some problems of philosophy. In this study, where the rational foundations of morality are revealed, the contribution of logic to the field of morality is tried to be given by introducing Aristotle's works. Continuing the tradition of Aristotle, Ibn Miskawayh discussed this work in two main parts. While the subject of happiness is discussed in the first part; In the second part, the levels of sciences are discussed.
