Notes
One of the most important sciences that shaped the classical period Ottoman thought is the method of fiqh. When we look at the fiqh method of the scholars of this period, the abundance of works centering on Şadrüşşerîa's works called et-Tenkīh and et-Tavzîh stands out. At this point, the annotation called et-Telvîh, written by Teftâzânî on the aforementioned works, has been the subject of many studies as a text in which the ulama found the opportunity to express themselves and prove their scientific maturity. Hasan Çelebi is also a productive scientist who worked on almost all of the basic texts taught in the madrasas of the period. One of these is Hâşiye ale't-Telvîh, which was completed in 885/1480 and was commissioned by Sultan II. It was presented to Bayezid; It is a work that was carefully examined and appreciated by some scholars of the period. The relevant work and its author were determined as the main subject of the study because it was thought that it would allow important determinations about Ottoman procedural thought.
