Notes The fourth and final part of the book, from an Egyptian copy, with a different, clear cursive script, included the section on the history of the Maghreb and Andalusia, and he went on to do so when explaining the verse: And I asked in the west the west of the sword when it rose in the east before the issuance of al-Bayd and al-Asl. Its text includes testimonies and correction of what he said on the authority of al-Bakri, al-Taribi, Ibn Abd al-Hakam, and others. This part was written in the year 1623/1033 AD, and the copyist transferred what he found to the original, which was written in the year 715 AH/1315 AD, in the city of Tozeur, in the handwriting of Abu Al-Qasim bin Muhammad bin Muhammad Al-Waisi and then Al-Bakrani.
