Annotations: From a hand later than that of the copyist, these are the notes on the verso of the initial endpaper and the recto of the final endpaper. Fragments of prayers and incantations also appear in the following folios: 86r-87v, 107v, 110r-117v, plus 15 folios at the beginning of the volume and 4 loose unnumbered notes. On the other hand, sporadic corrections and marginal annotations in black ink are made by the same copyist to correct or amend the text on the box. Also, and very sporadically, the word ḥizb appears in red ink. Furthermore, among the pages added to the beginning of the volume, the verso of 2 of them and the recto of another also appear blank. Of the single notes, the verses of another 2 also appear blank. H are missing or added: 27 H added: 22 f. at the beginning of the volume, 4 of which are bound backwards, plus 5 loose notes at the end of it., Illustration: The box is, for the most part, in a red box and others in a red and blue or red and black box. - Folio 13v: illustration describing the cemetery in which the Prophet Muḥammad and the caliphs Abū Bakr and ʽUmar were buried. The illustration, as a door, represented by a horseshoe arch crowned by a lowered vault, in the lower half of which the three mentioned tombs are represented, with an indication in Arabic text of who owns each one; Thus, that of the Prophet Muḥammad appears as a horizontal rectangle with two triangles at the upper ends in blue, while those of the caliphs Abū Bakr and ʽUmar are represented as a yellow horizontal rectangle. - In the upper half of the arch it appears in the shape of an hourglass with a rose window on each side. Illustrations: The most repeated symbol throughout Dalāʼil's work is an upper script that coincides in dimension with the graphic lengthening of the consonants. - Also, and to a much lesser extent, the Arabic comma (‘) and a symbol that resembles the lām alif (ﻻ) appear in red ink.
