Notes (After the Bismillah and the prayer) Shaykh al-Hafiz Abu 'Isa al-Tirmidhi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: In the creation of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Ibn Sa'id had two sons: Incipit, Annotations: Almost without marginal annotations. - Only some correction of some very sporadic text vocabulary. - In the upper right corner of the inside of the back cover, written in pencil, reads the number 5 which, probably, referred to the cataloging number of the volume prior to its entry into the BEEA. - In addition, in the same margin read the two old volume signatures Box 3,5 and Vol. XXVIII. - Annotations are also read on the inside of the main cover, as well as the last folio of the volume, in a hand different from that of the copyist., Arabic Maghrebi script, Special features: Voiced text, Colophon: Not available, Contents: Kitāb al-Šamāʼil, Copyist: Not available, Description: Arabic manuscripts and old fund from the School of Arabic Studies, Granada, 2007, 96., Impairments: Severely impaired binding, especially by the back to which a red tile has been placed on the inside to reinforce it. - The covers are loose and the stitching of the notebooks is very frayed. - On many folios of the volume there are stains and some galleries which do not affect the readability of the text., Distribution: 1 col. Has 8 lines per page., Edition: No, Binding: Dark brown leather poster on cardstock. - The tops are decorated with thread wheels and lacery orla on the edges; in the central rectangle motif with floral decoration and corners with flower, all this with the dry embroidery technique. Straight back with vertical wheel of flowers., Filigree:Shield with a transverse band traversing its interior, topped at its top by a beaded five-peaked crown. Below the shield read the letters “F” and “C” in hollow capitals. Figure of a bull with counterfiligree in the upper and lower right corners. The top reads “DB” and the bottom “NP” both in capitals. Figure of a rooster under which read the letters: “T” in hollowed capital and the “C” in simple capital. Rider on horseback, holding the reins with one hand and a spear with the other. The horse has both front paws raised. Accompanied sometimes by the counterfiligree “S” and other times it appears without any counterfiligree. Figure of a bull below the word “CAMSA” in capital letters. Letters “C”, “L” and “B” in hollow capitals. Counterfiligree of the ordinary number “1” perforated. Counterfiligree “SIII” in capitals., Foliation: Without original foliation.
