Notes The hospital, which served under the name Gureba Hospital until 1924, was renamed Ankara Numune Hospital in 1924. In 1927, the Refik Saydam Pavilion with 50 beds was opened within the hospital. As requirements increase, additional areas are needed for the hospital. / The hospital that served under the name of Gureba Hastanesi (literally, Hospital for the Poor) until 1924, and it was renamed as Ankara Numune Hastanesi (literally, Ankara Model Hospital) in 1924. In 1927, Refik Saydam Pavilion with a capacity of 50 beds, was opened within the hospita. Need for additional spaces within the hospital arose in parallel to increase in requirements.
