The librarian's opinion about the work: The name of the work is "Vasif and Subhi History". Vasif Efendi is one of the Ottoman chroniclers (palace historian). The chronicles written by chroniclers are referred to by their own names: Asım History, Naima History, etc. In this case, the same work cannot be both Vasıf and Subhi Tarih. Since the histories of the chroniclers already cover different years, they were published as independent works. When compared with the digital copy of the 1st and 2nd volumes of the History of Skills, published in different years in the Turkish Grand National Assembly Library, we see that these works are called the History of Skills. It was seen that it was not the same as the digitized work. Since "History of Vasıf and Subhi" was written in pencil on the first page of the work we have, perhaps that is why it was recorded in the catalog in this way. According to the information on the inner cover of the work, it was published in Istanbul in 1784, but the name of the work is not written. Based on this, we thought that the work might be one of the treatises written by Vasif Efendi and researched it. However, Vasıf has a treatise dated 1784, but since it does not have online access, it could not be compared with our work. | 239 p.
