Notes The kalathos surface of the 9th century marble composite column capital is decorated with two rows of acanthus motifs. Below this section is the annulet. The leaves with five lobes and three needles have the longest tips in the middle section. These motifs touch the leaves on the sides with their outwardly bent ends. There is a cross motif between the straight abacus and the echinhus, and three-pointed leaves bending towards the abacus on the volutes. Differences are seen in the abacus flower and acanthus motifs in one part of the title, and the annulet form does not continue in this part. Based on these elements, the title is actually 4-5. It can be thought that it dates back to centuries and started to be processed again in the late period. --- The kalathos surface of this 19th century marble composite column capital is decorated with two rows of acanthus motifs.
