Notes	In Islamic law, foundation means allocating a person's property for the public benefit. The foundation charter contains a text that clarifies issues such as how the property allocated to the public will be managed, control of expenditures, the status and wages of the personnel who will work for the foundation, and how the foundation's income will be spent, and this text is signed by the witnesses. The main source to be taken to solve problems that may arise in the future is the foundation charter itself. Foundation charter texts written by a master calligrapher are designed in book form or roll form. If they are in book form, they are covered with a binding prepared by a master bookbinder, and the first page of the text is decorated with a beautiful illumination. If the foundation charter is about the sultan or his family, the illuminated signature of the sultan is placed on the first page of the book foundation charter and at the beginning of the roll foundation charter. Designed in the form of a book, the foundation certificate relates to the income of real estate properties in different districts of Istanbul owned by Ismail, the son of Mustafa Pasha, an important statesman in the early 18th century.
Cilt	Vakfiye dış kapakları kestane renk deri miklepli cilt içindedir. Dış kapakları gömme yaldız bir şemse ve köşebentler süslemektedir. Şemse ve köşebentlerin içini kalıpla yapılmış sarmal dallar, çiçekler ve bulut motifleri doldurur. İç kapaklara sim ve zerefşanlı nohudi renk kağıt kaplanmıştır. Bu cilt örneğinde olduğu gibi, ortada bir şemse ve dört köşede köşebentlerle bezenmiş cilt tasarımı Türk cilt sanatında 15. yüzyılın sonlarından, 20. yüzyılın başlarına kadar kullanılmıştır. Bu süre içinde Türk mücellitleri yepyeni, cilt tasarımları da yaptılar, ancak bu geleneksel tasarımdan da vazgeçmediler. Geleneksel tarzda süslü cilt kitabın özgün kabıdır. Vakfiye metninin başlangıcını, üstat bir müzehhibin fırçasından çıkmış, altın zemine gri rumiler, pembe rozet çiçekli, altın dallar ve yapraklarla süslü, haşiyeli, unvan tezhibi süsler.
