In this work, the calligrapher copied the Surah al-Kahf from the Quran. On each page, one line at the bottom and one at the top must be lined using blue or green ink; The middle line is clearly marked using fine ink; The remaining two lines in between are written in black ink and Thuluth calligraphy. The lines on both sides of the last verses of Surah al-Kahf (j. 19a) were written in rika. These lines begin on the right with the verse of the Surah Al-Isra (Isra: 82) meaning "We send down from the Qur'an things that will be healing and mercy for the believers. As for the oppressors, the Qur'an only increases their harm" and continues with the hadith describing the virtue of the Surah Al-Kahf: "The Prophet - may Allah surround him and his family with goodness - said: Whoever recites the Surah Al-Kahf while lying down, this is for himself. It becomes a light that shines all the way to Mecca. If the place where he is is Mecca, he prays until the angels wake up to him. Whoever recites the end of the Surah al-Kahf, it becomes light for him from his feet to his head. Whoever recites the Surah Al-Kahf at the end of time will be filled with light. He will be safe from evil. He (the Messenger of Allah) spoke the truth.”
