Sample Text f.1v.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him we seek help f.1v.2: Praise be to God, who has made his religion clear to whoever desires happiness through it, and may blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad, the sun of existence and the treasure of sovereignty, and upon the God of the good, and his righteous companions. fol.1v.4: And after I shortened the explanation of Kanz al-Bayan, which is called Tawfiq al-Rahman, and deleted from it what was mentioned there, I mean the disagreement of Zufar, al-Shafi’i, and Malik, and a group of hadiths contained in the virtues of deeds, and a group of branches, it came with God’s help in the best manner, then he helped me to shorten it a second time by summarizing its words, shortening the solution of the text with the slightest reference, to make it easier for the beginner to read it, The end of the review was approaching, so I began it seeking God’s help - f.98r.10: Of that remainder, the mother has a sixth, the daughter has half, and the rest is for the guardian, because each of them does not inherit from its owner what its owner inherited, so the mother has twenty, and for the daughter of each of them, sixty, and for the guardian, ten - f.98r.12 The letter was completed, with the help of God, King Al-Wahhab. f.98r.13 On the blessed day of the third, seventeen days free of Shaban, the month of our Prophet Adnan, in the year 1275 of his migration, peace and blessings be upon him, at the hands of its writer, who confessed to sin and negligence, hoping for the pardon of his despicable Lord, the Almighty, Faraj, son of Sheikh Sayyid Farraj al-Hanafi al-Baqouri al-Sa’idi. May God forgive him and his parents, and whoever looked at this book, and whoever prayed for me and my parents, and for all Muslim men and women, the living and the dead. It is upon me. He is able to do what He wills, and the answer is worthy. Glory be to your Lord, Lord of Glory above what they describe, and peace be upon the messengers. Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds. May God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
