El notu Script: Naskh Ink: Black and red Scribe: Khalil bin Aybak al-Safadi خليل بن ايبك الصفدي Al-Safadi was a famous biographer from Turkic Mamluk background, who lived in Safad, Palestine. Al-Safadi has a note written on folio 1a: "...this volume together with those preceding and succeeding it, sixteen in all, belong to Khalil Ibn Aybak al-Safari..."
