Sample Text Fol. 1b.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon Muhammad. Praise be to God, Lord of the Worlds, and blessings be upon the best of creation, Muhammad, and his family, the good and pure, the eminent Sheikh Imam Najib al-Din Muhammad bin Ali al-Samarqandi. It is my duty for someone of heart and clarity to draw near to me, God Almighty, and to supplicate for Him with whatever offerings that are available to him, the best messages, and the best gifts, after complying with orders and prohibitions, what benefits the people in general and what is due to me to ward off harm from them, which is the search for medical knowledge and treating the sick. Taking care of their salvation and seeking health for them, along with that, is once again seeking the righteousness of the Muslims and achieving the reward from the Lord of the Worlds. This is to demonstrate the rule of God Almighty, to encourage it, to consider the signs of spending and souls, and to infer His knowledge, ability, grace, and mercy upon all of them. For I was In connection with this industry, I wanted to collect medical books for those who engage in this industry and its circulation, the principles of drug composition, engraved according to the time and situation, the ease of use of it, and the ease of use for those who are restricted from it. I saw that the doctors of the nursing home in the city of peace limited themselves to several books from For compounds included in a few leaves, and they rejected adult pastes due to drug deficiency - Fol. 94a. 13--16: The treatment is to beat this animal, strengthen its bite, and give it some zhubarb, gentian, caper root peels, and carcass flour in portions, mixed with drink or with honey and orchid flowers as antidotes, and perhaps it is sufficient to use salt and vinegar on it.
