Notes	An overdoor, of the kind set up at the entrance to a mosque, school, dwelling, etc. "[Grant us] assistance from God, a nigh victory, and give glad tidings unto the believers. O you who opens doors, open for us the best door for victory". The first sentence in the upper part is a quotation from the Qu'ran, from Surat al-Saff (LXI), v. 13. The second sentence, in the lower half, is not Qu'ranic \| Nasrun min Allâhi wa-fathun qaribun wa-bashshiri l-mu'minîna. yâ mufattiha l-abwâbi 'ftah lanâ khayra l-bâbi fathan Diacritics absent from transcription of lettering in this catalogue record
