Sample Text	f.1v.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful f.1v.2: His saying, “Al-Hamd,” but he did not connect “al-hamd” with the “waw” in the name of God, referring to what distinguishes what relates to the Creator from what relates to the created being, and he did not say “praise be to the Creator” or “the Sustainer” or the like, which would give the impression of praise. f.48r.12 We ask God for the conclusion of goodness and the repulsion of harm, and praise be to God for the completion, and may God’s blessings be upon our master Muhammad the Prophet and his family always f.48r.14 The entourage of our Sheikh, the scholar, may God Almighty be kind to us and to him, Amen. Sheikh Yusuf al-Fishi. May God have mercy on us and him and have vast mercy through His grace and generosity, Amen. The completion of its writing was on the blessed Saturday before the blessed noon on the twenty-third day of the holy month of Muharram of the months of the year ninety-nine after the thousandth Hijra. May the best and purest prayers be upon its author. And that was at the hands of the poorest of His servants and the most needy of His presence, and Murad al-Qaqr, the contemptible one, the one who recognized impotence and negligence. Muhammad Ibn Muhammad al-Fayshi, the land of al-Shafi’i, gave al-Azhari a homeland that pardoned him and his parents, and gathered for two Muslims who believed.
