My Lord is pleased with your mercy. Praise be to God, who created and made equal and destined and guided, and made sick and healed. Fol. 1b.3: As for what follows, whoever knows that God, Glory be to Him, the Most High, is a candidate for the perfection of the One through whom his destiny is made good, he guarantees with his life that he will be assisted in his days and that he will not spend his life except on the matters most important to him, and he will not spend his life except on what will return to him in the interests of this world, the afterlife, and his life. - Fol. 47a.32: After lunch, he should tame himself before lunch, go to the bathroom, anoint his body with violet oil, abstain from sweet and fruity things, especially wet things, avoid sexual intercourse, especially after he is full, and undertake to make himself miserable by vomiting and urinating.
