Fol. 2b.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and in Him we seek help and trust in Him
Fol. 2b.2: Praise be to God, praise that He deserves due to His high status and the fullness of His benevolence
Fol. 2b.3: After some of my brothers asked me to find out what I needed to help with what he might be anointed with, I sought to add a book on medicine comprehensively containing its general and partial laws - Fol. 528a.12: A chapter on the swelling of the nails and the itching in them. They are treated with the use of the sea, which is always boiled, and it disappears with it, and with the cooking of lentils and karsana, or with the cooking of hermaphrodites, and from dressings of benbus, pitch, and cooked yellow figs, grouped and individually. This is the last speech of the third book, and we have completed the words from it according to what is appropriate for that, and we must now proceed to the fourth book, praising God Almighty.
