Sample Text fol.2b.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful fol.2b.2: As for what follows, the most deserving thing to which the souls of those with just consideration have decided, for it is the ghost of reason and the weave of prohibition, which sent me to compose this. The logical terms and philosophical opinions that Abu al-Tayyib Ahmad ibn al-Hussein al-Mutanabbi took, and I repulsed my opponents regarding him when I saw the alienation of their minds from him. We found that Abu al-Tayyib al-Mutanabbi used philosophical purposes in his poetry, but if that was done by him through examination, consideration, and research, then he had immersed himself in a lesson. The sciences, and if this is by him for the sake of agreement, then he has more than the philosophers, and I have cited from that what is evidence of his perfect virtue. And indulging it in seeking wisdom, and from God is the one who seeks help - fol.27a.4: If generosity does not provide salvation from harm, then neither praise is earned nor wealth remains - fol.27a.5 Al-Hatimiyyah completed the Musa with wise meanings and literary niceties, with the help of God Almighty. FOL.27a.8 Written by Sheikh Ahmed bin Suwayd Al-Baghdadi Al-Maghroufi, the Sufi, in the protected town of Constantinople, may God Almighty protect it from pests and calamity.
