Sample Text f.2r.1: After he heard it, he commanded, rebuked, gave good tidings, warned, and pointed out the verses of monotheism so that he might reflect, and he told about the conditions of the past so that he could express himself, and he used parables in his mouth, so I wanted to collect from the features of the revelation by Sheikh Imam Muhyi al-Sunnah Muhammad al-Hussein bin Masoud al-Baghawi, known as al-Farra’, and from other interpretations, stories containing hadiths that are embarrassing from lamps. And I called it the Bronze of Interpretations, and I asked God for ease, on the authority of Uthman, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: The best of you is the one who learns the Qur’an and teaches it - f.140r.13: On the authority of Abu Sa’id Al-Khud, he said: Whoever did that among the people of Lot were only thirty or so men who did not reach forty, so God destroyed them all. And the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “You will either enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or let the punishment blind you.” Praise be to God.
