Sample Text f.3r.18: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful f.3r.18: Praise be to God, the Noble Governor, and blessings and peace be upon our Master Muhammad and his family. f.3r.20: And then from the servant who is in need of God, Muhammad al-Mahdi ibn al-Sayyid Abdullah. He has often complained to me about asking for relief from the Ansar among whom he obtained a divorce before the time of the Mahdiyya, and this is not free of distress and embarrassment from them and those who have forgotten them - f.4v.2: So it is forbidden for him to divorce those who were with him and I forbade them to others when they chose, so as for marrying others, it did not prevent him from doing so, and other things like this I say. After this, many secrets have come to me regarding this meaning, which are too long to mention. Praise be to God for our privacy with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his care for us and care for us in the past and in the present, for the honor of the follower is from the honor of the followed - f.4v.6 and peace 18 Rabi’ al-Awwal AH 1302
