Sample Text Fol. 3b.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Fol. 3b.2: Praise be to God, peace be upon His servants, and blessings be upon His prophets Fol. 3b.3: Know that we have finished the first and second books, mentioning the bulk of theoretical knowledge and individual medicines, and we have tried to begin in this third book and mention in it what is beneficial for health. We have divided this book into twenty-two sections, and each section includes several articles, and each article is divided into chapters, and we have exhaustively discussed the partial diseases that occur in the parts of mankind, whether externally or internally - Fol. 322b. 11-16: A chapter on the treatment of ingrown toenails. Treat them permanently with sea water and they will go away with it, or cook lentils and karsana, or cook khini and from dressings of mulberry, pitch, and cooked yellow figs, grouped and individually. The third book of the five books of law was completed, thanks to God Almighty, in the year 1270.
