f.1r.4: As for what follows, the poor, grateful to God, the rich and gracious, says: Abu Muhammad Omar bin Uthman, when learning the religious duties in the appropriate and correct way stopped, on knowing some issues of arithmetic, and his subject was number, I gathered words It includes its definition and some of its conditions in order to facilitate the beginner learner and answer his question, so I called it Tuhfat al-Khayed fi Ilm al-Farid - f.1v.12 May God grant us success in the best of demands and praise be to God for the bounties of our goals.
