My intention is to mention here in this book one of the sayings of some of the wise men skilled in this art, whose fame (?) is famous in science and medicine, and the writer of this book was a man from the Middle East called Qazhaya Bishara. Al-Saikali, and we hope, above all, for the grace of the Father to whom this book reaches, if there is a break in some of the letters, he will not hold us in error or in the obligation to explain more than this. Peace be upon everyone who looks at this book with love and sincerity, and God is the guardian of His servants and He is the Creator, so I say, “And I have put my trust in God.” - Fol. 102a.13: A fine, crushed slug is taken, a plaster is made, and it is placed on the slug and it is opened completely.
