Sample Text f.1v.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful f.1v.2: We praise You, O One whose blessings are infinite in number. And the multiplication of my portion will not end for a long time f.1v.4: And then, the poor to God, the rich, Baha al-Din Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Amili, may God speak to him with the truth on the Day of Reckoning, says that the science of arithmetic is not hidden in its status, and this is a treatise that includes the most important of its principles, organized the most important of its chapters and chapters, and included from it nice benefits that I called the summary of the account - f.22v.3: For among its demands has been fulfilled with preservation and concealment, based on the authority of most of the people of the time. My will to you, and God is the Protector - f.22v.4 The arithmetic letter was written on Sunday in the month of Safar in the year one hundred and twenty-four, and it was written by the wretched and poor Omar bin Hussein. May God forgive him, his parents, the professor, and all the believers, with your mercy, O Most Merciful of the Merciful, in the year 1124.
