f.2v.4: After this is a nice overview of the description of work with the price of a circle, know that I have devised this instrument. In the year 647, I chose this only because of the desirability of its shape, the lightness of its carrying, and the abundance of its benefits. A chapter on knowing the drawing of this instrument - f.3v.1: And the string is moved until the ruler falls on the arcades of elevation of the arcades that are below the horizon.
