fol.1b.5: Praise be to God who placed constellations in the sky and made the sun a light and the moon a light
fol.1b.11: As for the science of arithmetic, it is one of the most beautiful things that attention has been devoted to, and it has been spent on acquiring, and its promise of ideas, especially the concept in which religion has a basis, and the culmination of the scholar, Professor Abu Zaid Abd al-Rahman bin Ghalib al-Jadiri al-Fasi, called Rawdat al-Azhar, is one of the most inventive in the science of timings. I would like to put a disclaimer on it that explains its meanings and clarifies. So he promised it and called it Fataf al-Anwar min Rawdat al-Azhar - fol.77b.2: And in some copies of the days there was a circumstance related to its seed or previous confirmation - fol.77b.3 And God knows best, and this is the last thing I meant to put in this part of the promised explanation, so it ended with God’s will in accordance with the intended purpose. May God make it useful in both worlds, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon him. Mercy of the two worlds, our master and master Muhammad, the Seal of the Prophets and the Imam of the Messengers, and may God be pleased with his pure family and honorable companions, and with the followers and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment.
Fol.77b.10 It was completed, thanks to God Almighty and His good help, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad and his family and companions.
