Sample Text f.1v.1: In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, help you, O Lord f.1v.2: Abu Amr Othman bin Saeed bin Othman Al-Muqri, may God be pleased with him, said: Praise be to God, the One who is Alone with the long supply of blessings, the Creator with His power, and the One who manages the matter with His wisdom. There is no one to oppose his command and there is no one to follow up his judgement. f.1v.10: As for what follows, you have asked me, may God bless your guidance, if I write for you a brief book on the doctrines of the seven ancient Qur’an, making it more accessible to you and making it easier for you to memorize. Its lesson is easy for you, and it includes narrations and paths that became well-known and spread among the later generations, and were authentic and proven among the early scholars. What you wanted and in the way you wanted it - f.90v: The truth dispenses with it, so know that is a stand for the path of goodness and the right path, and God is the Granter - f.90v The book of facilitation has been completed. Praise be to God, and his help, and his support, and his victory, and may God’s blessings and peace be upon Muhammad and his family and grant them peace. f. 90v Al-Farra’ was from Kaskh on the ninth of Rajab in the year six hundred and seventy-seven in guarded Cairo, and was captured by Abd al-Rahman ibn Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Garshi al-Siqilli. May God forgive him and pardon him.
