| Notes | These cover trips made by Browne, representing or commissioned by various leprosy organisations (notably the Leprosy Study Centre), to give talks, seminars, lectures, or training or attend conferences and other meetings. The files cover the local situation with regard to leprosy, reports and recommendations, concerns, plans, developments and major organisations involved (notably the Sasakawa Foundation as a conference and congress funding body). Occasionally an actual visit by Browne is not involved but simply information on the particular country or reports by others. These files can be consulted in conjunction with the notebooks in H.5 These have been arranged into alphabetical order by the name of the country or the geographical area that was noted by Browne on the file cover.
