Bilingual dictionary with 50,000 keywords and phrases that covers the current vocabulary of standard Arabic and important terms from specialist areas. (LK/BO: Chaikowski), The Arabic pocket dictionary has been revised (not previously discussed) and has a new, user-friendly design. In particular, the vocabulary of the German-Arabic part was updated and important terms from other specialist areas, e.g. IT, politics, were added, and the Arabic-German part was supplemented. The approximately 50,000 keywords and phrases are printed in bold black, and all Arabic keywords and translations are also reproduced in international phonetic transcription. Notes on usage and pronunciation as well as additions of short Arabic grammar, conjugation lists, lists of numbers, etc. complete the volume. "Langenscheidt Universal Arabic Dictionary" (20,000 keywords, BA 5/08) covers the needs for travel and everyday life, the "Handbook German-Arabic" (ID 37/01) and "Langenscheidt Handbook Arabic-German" (ID 43/03) offer a little more vocabulary.
