Arabic-German part of the 2-volume hand dictionary, discussion of the German-Arabic part see ID 37/01. Compared to the 1996 edition (not displayed), an addendum lists 3,000 new entries (mostly just additions to existing keywords), otherwise no changes. A total of around 45,000 keywords and phrases from modern vocabulary as well as from important subject areas such as politics, economics, science and technology are now listed. Purely alphabetical keyword structure and international phonetic transcription for the Arabic keywords. Both volumes are well used in our library.
