Sample Text Judaism, Christianity and Islam form a common religious family and their writings IBM the Hebrew Old Testament, the Greek New Testament and the Arabic Quran IBM have the same roots. Anyone who knows the Bible and picks up the Koran has a strange experience: many passages seem familiar the first time they read them. How do the Koran and the Bible agree? How do they differ? The interreligiously experienced and committed Protestant theologian Wolfgang Reinbold traces these connections through a unique, consistent, text-based comparison of the Koran and the Bible. He has in mind all those who work with these writings in their (inter)religious and educational practice.
