Notes The research focuses on an era of time represented by the prosperous Islamic eras, which extended for more than a thousand years, beginning with the noble prophetic mission and ending with the Ottoman era. Sciences were thriving in that era of time, while other countries that were not fortunate enough to have Arab-Islamic civilization reach them, were living in the midst of ignorance and distance from all human civilization. The Sharia view of natural disasters and epidemics was that they represented divine punishments for human beings, as a result of the transgressions and sins they had committed, in addition to being a testimony and mercy to the believers. Arab and Muslim scholars, especially doctors, have been interested in studying and writing about natural disasters, epidemics and infectious diseases, and they have left us a huge heritage that deserves all appreciation. In this research, I will address two things: The first is about the causes of epidemics, which were identified with the heavenly and the earthly, and we will talk about the development of scientific concepts for those causes, and the beginning of the conversation about germs. The second is in treatment and precaution. In it, I will mention what was reported by the medical legends in the light of the Arab and Islamic civilization regarding the various treatments that were available in their time, as well as precautions and ways to prevent infection with them, and perhaps many of them are still used in our modern era. Recommendations: Benefiting from the methods that were followed in the Arab Islamic civilization, and developing them according to the modern era in a way that is compatible with the development of modern technologies in all areas of life. Medical, media, environmental, transportation, etc. The research will be focused on an era of time represented in the flourishing Islamic eras, which spanned more than a thousand years, starting with the noble prophetic mission, and ending with the Ottoman era, during that time science was flourishing, while other countries that were not fortunate to arrive. to the testimony and mercy of the believers.
