Notes Kuwait is the owner of the Arab geographical area, which was affiliated with Iraq during the Ottoman mandate, and the people of Kuwait continued their visits to all of the provinces of Iraq and without any prevention from the Iraqi government and the relations were good many times, and at times there were calls by some Iraqi rulers to annex Kuwait to Iraq to the President Abdul Karim Qasim, but Kuwait was on good terms with Britain and the last one had a protection treaty on Kuwait since 1899 and continued 1961, and in the last year Kuwait gained its independence, at that time President Abdul Karim Qasim rejected that independence, stressing that the Kuwaiti An integral part of Iraq's continued rejection of that until the eighth of February 1963.
