This study stops with research and analysis at “Filastin Newspaper,” which was published in 1911 AD. As one of the most prominent sources of study that reveals the features of the formation of the Zionist movement and its activity on the land of Palestine; It represented one of the most important means of cultural resistance to Zionist activity. Its appearance coincided with the beginning of the penetration of this activity, and it had the first role and great influence on Arab public opinion regarding the situation in Palestine. The primary goal of choosing this topic was to reveal the historical role played by the Filastin newspaper in confronting Zionist activity, especially after Turkish nationalism revealed its true face through its Turanist tendency. The study dealt with basic axes, the first of which is the Palestinian press in the Ottoman era, briefly, from its inception until 1914 AD, with a brief overview of the life of Issa Al-Issa, its editor-in-chief and founder. The study then stops at the role of Filastin newspaper in resisting Zionist activity on the land of Palestine with the aim of establishing an independent state, by revealing the role that the newspaper contributed in confronting the dangers of Zionist immigration and settlement and its continuous attempt to stir up fervor in the hearts of the Ottomans in order to push Zionist activity away from Palestine. As a state bearing Ottoman vassalage, a revealing light was also shed on the process of selling and purchasing lands, and the accompanying aspects of the economic activity of the Zionists on the land of Palestine, especially commercial and agricultural activity and the contribution to establishing an infrastructure of ports and transportation routes that facilitate their activity. Finally, the newspaper's position on the cultural, social and educational activity of the Zionists on the land of Palestine was clarified. The study adopted the historical, descriptive, and analytical approach. This is based on data: Including collecting information from primary sources, studying, analysing, criticizing, classifying it, interconnecting it, and presenting it in a scientific, historical manner. The study concluded with a set of results, including an attempt by the Palestine newspaper to alert Palestinian public opinion to the danger of the Zionists owning lands and to call on the Palestinians to defend their lands by forming associations to purchase land. The Palestine newspaper also revealed the relationship between the Ottoman official and the Zionist colonialist.
