This research aims to shed light on the development of the money industry in Egypt during the era of Muhammad Ali and its impact on its industry, which was carried out with primitive manual machines that produced coins that were not perfect in their general shape or writings. Then the money industry began to be done with machines that produced money that was distinguished by the precision of its general shape and the clarity of its writings and the mediation of these writings on the coins. In this context, the study presented the nature of this development, its reflection on the coins that Muhammad Ali minted in Egypt, and the reasons that prompted him to bring about this development. Then the study focused on the restorations that Muhammad Ali created it with the minting of the Second Ottoman Khanate, and his establishment of a new minting khan in the year 1243 AH with the aim of developing the minting industry in Egypt to keep pace with the development that the minting industry was experiencing in Europe at that time. To achieve this, the study followed the comparative descriptive approach and the analytical method, by presenting the impact of the development of the minting industry during the reign of Muhammad Ali on money through a comparison between the money minted in Egypt before his development of the minting industry, and the money minted in Egypt after this development, and in this context the study was able to clarify The development that befell the Ottoman coins minted in Egypt during the reign of Muhammad Ali, and its reflection in the shape of these coins and the clarity of the writings recorded on them.
