Man was interested in knowing human nature and was also interested in explaining the differences in physical features, customs, traditions, religions, arts, and so on. anthropology is interested in studying human societies through what people produce in that society, whether material, intellectual or social, as well as everything that man has acquired from customs, traditions, methods of behavior and values prevailing in the society were reflected and appeared in the art of photography. during this research paper, i will apply cultural anthropology in the ottoman society during the reign of Sultan Suleyman al Kanoni and Murad the third through some illustrations in the photos that was produced during their time of ruling. i will address this through several sections, the first topic is cultural anthropology. the second topic the importance of anthropology. the third topic, Sultan al Suleyman Kanoni the fourth topic, Sultan and the conclusion, which included the results of the study, then the appendix of the paintings, and finally the list of references. اهتم الإنسان بمعرفة الطبيعة الإنسانية واهتم كذلك بتفسير الاختلافات في الملامح الجسمية والعادات والتقاليد والديانات والفنون وغير ذلك، ويأتي اهتمام علم الأنثروبولوجيا لدراسة المجتمعات الإنسانية من خلال ما ينتجه الأشخاص في ذلك المجتمع سواء مادي أو فكري أو اجتماعي، وكذلك كل ما اكتسبه الإنسان من عادات وتقاليد وأساليب للسلوك وقيم تسود المجتمع، انعكست وظهرت في فن التصوير، فخلال هذه الورقة البحثية سأقوم بتطبيق الأنثروبولوجيا الثقافية في المجتمع العثماني في عهد السلطان سليمان القانوني ومراد الثالث من خلال بعض التصاوير الموجودة في المخطوطات التي أنتجت في عهدهم. وسأتناول ذلك من خلال عدة مباحث، المبحث الأول الأنثروبولوجيا الثقافية، المبحث الثاني أهمية الأنثروبولوجيا، المبحث الثالث السلطان سليمان القانوني، المبحث الرابع السلطان، والتي اشتملت على نتائج الدراسة، ثم ملحق اللوحات، وأخيرا قائمة المراجع.
