Notes The art of photography is one of the arts that carries with it a lot of science and knowledge that the researcher can discover through his study of these pictures. Perhaps embassy photography is a type of photography that carries a lot of information for us about the personalities of the embassies and the official envoys of countries in the Middle Ages, especially the Ottoman era. The focus was on the tasks assigned to these men in history books without looking at the artistic features related to the costumes they wore, their honorary titles, or the qualities they possessed. Hence, the researcher tried to address this aspect as a window through which to study the aspects of art related to the Ottoman embassies. The letter, which included pictures of envoys and embassies, was a fertile field for study, as it contained pictures of a group of official ambassadors and envoys, as well as some job holders or those accompanying the diplomatic mission. It also contained a picture of the city to which the embassy of these envoys was sent, which was Tehran, and some of the main landmarks of the city, represented by the government gate and the Nasiriyah gate. The study also included a study of the titles and jobs of the figures of the Ottoman mission to Tehran.
