This research deals with the study of an Ottoman founding inscription from Ma'an Castle dated 971 AH/1563 AD in the Ottoman language, bearing the name of the Ottoman Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. This study means reading the text, translating it into Arabic, and analyzing its content, indicating the importance of its historical and archaeological connotations, as well as studying many of the artistic data and aesthetic values that characterize this inscription, and highlighting the titles, epithets, and proper names it contains.
