Notes
The Qur’an is like a book. Scholars have paid great attention to the issue of drawing the Qur’an, and it has been the focus of their studies since the second Islamic century. Many people, both early and late, have classified it, and scholars have written many books about it. Because the Orientalists dealt with the Holy Qur’an from several aspects, linguistic, historical, and interpretive, we decided to delve into their statements related to the drawing of the Uthmani Qur’an, and how these statements were based on the statement of the disorder of the Qur’anic text through its readings that were formed, according to them, primarily on the drawing of the Qur’an. The purpose of studying and explaining the visions of the Orientalists is to know the truth about their position on the Qur’an and the reasons for this position. In order to understand this, we must be fully aware of the vision of the Orientalists and the fundamental points that they raise. Based on these positions, this research provides a comprehensive presentation of the Orientalist vision that aims to throw the Qur’anic text into confusion and contradiction, according to the multiplicity of aspects of readings resulting from differences.
