Notes
In this study, the general characteristics of the Holy Quran, the spread and printing of the Quran in Indonesia will be mentioned. The purpose of this research is to determine whether the original Ottoman mushafs exist in Indonesia. The method of this research is philological study. An example of the Ottoman mushaf is the mushaf of Prabu Diraja, a sultan of Palembang origin. This Mushaf was inherited from the family. The way the mushaf is written is more similar to the Ottoman mushafs than to the Indonesian mushafs. In this research, Ottoman mushafs in Indonesia will be discussed and the relationship of these mushafs in Indonesia will be examined. Then, the printing process of the Holy Quran in Indonesia will be discussed.
