The Janissaries are an effective military force in the Ottoman Empire, and given the importance of their role, the research included Janissary rebellions in the years (1481-1648 AD). The Janissary rebellions emerged as a result of the weakness in the political performance of some of the Ottoman sultans, which created appropriate opportunities for these rebellions to occur, which clearly affected all aspects of the Ottoman State, political, military, and social, which made the Janissaries a phenomenon that left its effects on the status of the Ottoman State at the time. Janissary is an active military force in the Ottoman State. Due to its importance, this study examines the Janissaries insurgences within the period (1481–1648). Such insurgences arise from the weakness of political performance of some Ottoman sultans, providing the chance for such insurgences to affect the Ottoman State, in the political, military and social aspects. This is why Janissaries is a phenomena affecting the Ottoman State, at that time.
