Notes
The research deals with the investigation of the last part of the book: Explanation of Al-Lam’ fi Grammar, which was dictated by: Abu Al-Hussein Ahmad bin Abdullah Al-Mahabadi (one of the scholars of the fifth century AH) from: Chapter on the connection and connection to the end of the book. The most prominent steps that I took to serve the text were: documenting the attribution of the book to the author, describing the written copy, proving the verified text according to the spelling rules, organizing the text material by placing commas and paragraphs to understand the text, extracting grammatical sayings from the books of their authors as much as possible, writing verses in Uthmani script, graduating poetic readings and evidence and attributing them to their owners, and commenting on many issues that need comment. The importance of the topic lies in the scientific value of the book, the grammatical opinions expressed in it, and the status of its author. The research aims to present this part of the book in a better way than it is, as it is one of the important sources of grammar and morphology. The researcher adopted the historical approach in the part related to introducing Mahabadhi and his biography, and the critical analytical approach in treating the research material. Among the most important results of the research: that Al-Mahabadi has a great scientific standing among grammarians, and that he does not have a fixed method in explaining it, and that his views were in agreement with the views of the Basra school in the most general part.
