The Endowment of the Two Holy Mosques Endowments in Algeria at the end of the Ottoman era was ranked first in comparison to other charitable institutions, and this is due to the high status enjoyed by the sacred Bekaa in the hearts of Algerians, but the endowments of the Two Holy Mosques quickly recognized a great regression and decline in the beginning of the French occupation, and this What makes us wonder: What are the measures taken by the French colonial authorities towards the endowments of the Two Holy Mosques in Algeria? Since this study is historical, it was based on the historical approach through which we seek to identify the Foundation for the Endowments of the Two Holy Mosques, and the various measures taken by the French colonial administration towards this institution, and the most important results. لقد كانت مؤسسة أوقاف الحرمين الشريفين في الجزائر أواخر العهد العثماني تحتل المرتبة الأولى مقارنة بالمؤسسات الخيرية الأخرى، و هذا يعود إلى المنزلة الرفيعة التي تتمتع بها البقاع المقدسة في نفوس الجزائريين، وقد قدرت أوقافها عشية الاحتلال الفرنسي بثلاثة أرباع من الأوقاف الموجودة في مدينة الجزائر. إلا أن أوقاف الحرمين الشريفين سرعان ما عرفت تقهقرا و تراجعا كبيرا في بداية الاحتلال الفرنسي، بعد أن حاول طمس و تقزيم أي دور لها في المجتمع لتفطنه بما تقدمه هذه الأوقاف من خدمات للمجتمع الجزائري، و هذا ما يجعلنا نطرح الإشكالية التالية : فيما تتمثل الإجراءات المتخذة من قبل السلطات الاستعمارية الفرنسية اتجاه أوقاف الحرمين الشريفين في الجزائر من 1830 إلى غاية 1844م؟ و بما أن هذه الدراسة تاريخية فقد تم الاعتماد على المنهج التاريخي الذي نسعى من خلاله إلى التعرف على مؤسسة أوقاف الحرمين الشريفين، و مختلف الإجراءات التي اتخذتها الإدارة الاستعمارية الفرنسية اتجاه هذه المؤسسة، و أبرز النتائج La dotation des deux saintes mosquées La dotation en Algérie à la fin de l'ère ottomane était classée première par rapport à d'autres institutions caritatives, et cela est dû au statut élevé dont jouit la Bekaa sacrée dans le coeur des Algériens, mais les dotations des deux saintes mosquées ont rapidement reconnu une grande régression et un déclin au début de l'occupation française, et cela Ce qui nous fait nous demander: quelles sont les mesures prises par les autorités coloniales françaises envers les dotations des Deux Saintes Mosquées en Algérie? Cette étude étant historique, elle était basée sur l'approche historique à travers laquelle nous cherchons à identifier la Fondation pour les dotations des deux saintes mosquées, et les différentes mesures prises par l'administration coloniale française envers cette institution, et les résultats les plus importants
