Notes The current research is an attempt to understand the cultural dialogue between Islam and Christianity through the trip of Imam Abd al-Rahman al-Baghdadi to Brazil entitled “Entertaining the Stranger in Every Wonderful Matter” in the late nineteenth century, which represented the civilizational influence of the Ottomans in South America. This trip represented an important source for Al-Baghdadi about the beginnings of the formation of Brazilian society and Islamic influence. The paper is an attempt to understand the civilization's dialogue between Islam and Christianity through the travel of Imam Abdulrahman Al-Baghdadi,"Musalyat Algharib fi kuliamren 'Ajib'at the late 19th century, which represented the impact of Ottoman civilization on the South America. The travel was an important source at the beginning of the Brazilian society and the Islamic influence.
