Notes	This study deals with the relationship of Jan Bardi al-Ghazali with the Arab tribes in the governorship of Damascus (the Levant) in the period from 922-926 AH / 1516-1520 AD, after he was appointed as its deputy at the beginning of the Ottoman era. It reviews the positions he held before his appointment as deputy of the Levant, then addresses his relationship with the Arab tribes after assuming the governorship, such as the Bani Lam, and his military campaigns against them because they attacked the Levantine Hajj convoy. It also deals with his relationship with the Al-Hanash family, who remained loyal to the Maliks even after their defeat in the Battle of Marj Dabiq. It also reviews his relationship with the tribes of Palestine, which took different positions against him, whether during his deputyship over Damascus or after he declared his rebellion against the Ottoman Empire.
