The Levant has been the focus of international conflicts in its ancient, modern and contemporary history because of its important strategic position and great economic resources. In the Ottoman era, this region was not stable since they ruled it in 1517 A.D. Until the beginning of the nineteenth century in all political, economic and social fields. Therefore, this made it the focus of the regional and international powers, and since they constitute the strategic depth of Egypt was thought by the strong Mohammed Ali Pasha (1805-1848 A.D.) to include the draft state of modern political paving and then military intervention. And this intervention has brought serious consequences on the internal and external levels of the Ottoman Empire. The Levant was a focus of conflicts due to its important strategic location and enormous economic wealth. During the Ottoman era, this region did not witness stability since they took control over it in 1517 AD until the beginning of the nineteenth century in all political, economic and social fields, which made it the focus of attention of regional and international powers. Since it constituted the strategic depth of Egypt, its ruler Muhammad Ali Pasha (1805-1848 AD) thought of including it in his modern state project, paving the way for this. With political and then military intervention, and this intervention carried serious consequences at the internal and external levels of the Ottoman Empire. The research sheds light on the beginnings of regional and international interventions in the Levant, by examining the issue of Egyptian control over it and the accompanying international positions and political and military interventions in its affairs, especially by Britain, France, and Tsarist Russia, which was the beginning of what was known in international politics as the Eastern Question, the impact of which still exists to this day.
