In this study, I touched on the subject of local factions in the Levant during the 18th century AD, and their relationship with the Ottoman Empire, as powerful forces that had influences on the course of events in the region. I referred to the Ottoman policy towards these factions and families, whether those supportive and loyal to the Ottomans in the region or those that took a negative stance towards them, broke the stick of obedience and resorted to disobedience, and it became clear through this modest study that those families and loyal Levantine factions The state tried hard to monopolize the rule of its regions, and to maintain this privilege for decades and many years, and this matter did not bother the Ottoman authorities. On the contrary, it relied on these local forces to establish its rule in the Levant provinces, and to seek their help to curb any movement opposing the Ottoman regime. What was also recorded is that those leaders and factions that carried out the rebellion, despite the disturbances and unrest they caused, did not represent a great danger to the Ottomans, because none of them dared. To separate from the Ottoman Empire and demand independence from it, and this is due to several reasons that we explained during this study.
